WKO ("Weekly Knockout") collects only the information needed to run the contest, score picks, and pay out prizes. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone, and we do not use your data for advertising or tracking across other apps or websites.
This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and how you can remove it.
Account information. Your email address and display name, provided when you register or sign in with Google. Your email is used to identify your entries, send contest notifications, and contact you about prizes.
Contest activity. Your weekly picks, entry names, win/loss record, tiebreaker predictions, playoff confidence selections, and payout history. This is the core data that makes the contest work, and standings are visible to other participants in the league.
Content you post. Messages you write in Smack Talk and comments you leave in Chalk Talk, along with your display name. These are visible to other participants.
Moderation records. If you report a message or block another participant, we store that action so we can enforce it and review reports.
Payment records. Whether your entry fee has been paid, and the transaction identifiers returned by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
We share information only with the service providers required to operate the contest:
We do not sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use third-party analytics or tracking technologies that follow you across other apps and websites. We may disclose information if required by law or to respond to a valid legal request.
Entry fees are processed by Stripe. Your card details are entered on Stripe's secure checkout and are never transmitted to or stored by WKO. We retain only the payment status and Stripe reference needed for contest accounting.
To pay prizes, we may need to collect the payment handle you choose (for example a CashApp, Venmo, or Zelle identifier). Where required by law, we may also need tax information before issuing a payout. This information is used solely to pay you.
You can delete your own account at any time from theSettings pagein the app. Deleting your account removes your profile, entries, and picks.
You may also delete your own Smack Talk messages, and block any participant whose messages you do not wish to see.
We keep contest and payment records for as long as needed to complete the season, resolve disputes, and satisfy tax or accounting obligations. Records tied to a completed prize payout may be retained after account deletion where the law requires it.
To request a copy of your information, or deletion assistance, contact the Commissioner using the address below.
WKO is intended only for participants who are 18 years of age or older (or the age of majority in their state of residence, whichever is older). We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have, we will delete the account and its data.
Questions about this policy, or requests regarding your data, can be sent to the Commissioner atthecommish@wkopickem.com.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and notify registered participants.
